Rebel Legion Hawai'i is spearheading an event this
Halloween night [Wednesday - October 31st, 2007] that we are calling
"The 1,000 Jedi March". This will be for GOOD GUY & GOOD GAL
(or good creature or good droid) Star Wars costumers and fans.

Even if you don't have a costume but would like to walk with & SUPPORT us, great.
We plan to do this in Waikiki (Kalakaua Avenue's sidewalks with all the costumed people).

Again, you *DO NOT* have to be dressed up as a Jedi. You can be wearing any
Star Wars good guy or gal costume or just be in plain clothes.

Following up May 2005's recon mission at Ward Theatres, this was
Rebel Legion Hawai'i's first substantial mission. Four Rebels met at the
Circuit City store in Pearlridge for a 2-hour operation on
Tuesday - November 1st, 2005. A Clone Wars era Clone Trooper with
blue stripes was also there but the Force told that he could be trusted.
Together, we comemmorated the arrival of "Revenge of the Sith" on DVD.

As part of Burger King's Star Wars Episode III campaign, radio station Hot 93.9 invited one and all to a Star Wars costume party at the now defunct Blue Tropix "Restaurant and Boutique". Several members of the Pacific Outpost faced off against a lone Rebel Commando on the dance floor. A T.K. Stormtrooper in an Aloha shirt and shorts won the title of "best costume".

One of Hawai'i's Star Wars superfans, Eric Castillo, started waiting in line at O'ahu's Dole Cannery Signature Theatres on Saturday night - May 14th, 2005. This was at least four whole days' time before the theatres were to open for the first official showing of Star Wars Episode III: "Revenge of the Sith". Including Eric's group of friends, there were 3 large groups of fans waiting in line those four days with more and more people rolling in from early Wednesday morning. Theatre staff started letting the excited fans in Wednesday evening to be on time for the 12:01 a.m. showings on Thursday morning.

Over 30,000 Star Wars fans from all around the world converged at the Indiana Convention Center for only the 3rd Lucasfilm-licensed Star Wars fan convention so far: Celebration III. This event turned Indianapolis into the Star Wars center on planet Earth from April 21st (Thursday) through the 24th (Sunday), 2005. The convention center was FILLED with fans on all 4 days despite the rain and reportedly atypical cold weather for that time of year. Even though this was about 3 weeks BEFORE the world premiere of Episode III, a few of the HUNDREDS of fans in costume were already showing up as characters set to appear in "Revenge of the Sith".
